Dronagiri is an eight-acre nature and botanical sanctuary in East Clare. Since purchasing the land in 2019, we have been restoring and rewilding the landscape, planting over 3,000 native trees and creating a rich, living environment for plants, wildlife, and people.
The name Dronagiri is drawn from the Ramayana, the ancient Indian epic central to Ayurvedic tradition. In the legend, Dronagiri is a sacred mountain renowned for its powerful medicinal plants, including the fabled Sanjeevani Booti. This story inspires our vision of the land as a place of healing, renewal, and connection with nature.
Our Cabins
Our cabins are available year-round, offering a cosy and comfortable retreat in every season. Thoughtfully designed with natural insulation and underfloor heating, they stay warm and welcoming—even in the heart of winter. Each cabin is ensuite and fully self-catering, giving you the freedom to settle in, relax, and enjoy the peace of East Clare at your own pace.
