Booking Terms & Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a booking. By completing a reservation with Dronagiri you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms.
1. Bookings
1.1 A booking is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation email has been issued.
1.2 The person making the booking must be at least 18 years of age and is responsible for all guests staying at the property.
1.3 Only the guests named in the booking may occupy the cabin unless prior written approval has been obtained.
1.4 The maximum occupancy stated for each cabin must not be exceeded.
2. Payment
2.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
2.2 We reserve the right to cancel a booking where payment cannot be processed.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellations made more than 30 days before the arrival date — no charge will be applied and a full refund will be issued.
3.2 Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date — 50% of the total reservation cost will be charged.
3.3 No-shows — guests who do not arrive on the booked date without prior notice will be charged 100% of the total reservation cost.
3.4 All cancellations must be made in writing by email to Dronagiri. The date the written cancellation is received will determine which policy applies.
3.5 We strongly recommend that all guests obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen cancellations, illness or other circumstances beyond their control.
4. Changes to Bookings
4.1 Requests to change dates may be accommodated at our discretion and are subject to availability.
4.2 Changes may incur additional charges where the revised dates attract a higher rate.
5. Check-In & Check-Out
5.1 Check-in is from 3:00pm.
5.2 Check-out is by 11:00am.
5.3 Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement.
6. Guest Responsibilities
6.1 Guests agree to keep the cabin and surrounding areas clean and tidy throughout their stay.
6.2 Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or members of their party.
6.3 Any breakages or maintenance issues should be reported to us as soon as possible.
6.4 Guests shall not engage in illegal, unsafe, or disruptive activities on the property.
7. Quiet Enjoyment & Sanctuary Ethos
7.1 Dronagiri is an alcohol-free, vegetarian sanctuary and a place of deep rest and quiet. We ask all guests to respect and honour this ethos throughout their stay.
7.2 Excessive noise, parties, events, or behaviour that disturbs the peaceful atmosphere of the sanctuary or neighbouring properties are not permitted.
7.3 Failure to comply with these expectations may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
8. Smoking
8.1 Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any cabin or within the immediate surroundings of the property.
8.2 Evidence of smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning charges.
9. Pets
9.1 Pets are only permitted where expressly authorised at the time of booking.
9.2 Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets and ensuring they do not cause damage or disturbance to the property or other guests.
10. Damage & Additional Charges
10.1 Guests are liable for the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged property, furnishings, fixtures, or equipment.
10.2 Additional cleaning charges may apply where the cabin is left in an unreasonable condition.
11. Liability
11.1 Guests use the property and surrounding grounds at their own risk.
11.2 Dronagiri accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during a stay.
11.3 Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
12. Force Majeure
12.1 We shall not be liable for cancellations or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, power failures, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
12.2 Where possible, we will endeavour to offer alternative dates or a refund at our discretion.
13. Right to Refuse or Terminate
13.1 We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a stay without refund where guests breach these Terms and Conditions, cause damage, create a disturbance, behave in a way that is inconsistent with the ethos of Dronagiri, or exceed the permitted occupancy.
14. Governing Law
14.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland.
